Forschungsschwerpunkte
Ich interessiere mich für die Entwicklung von diagnostischen und prognostischen Markern für gesundes Altern und für die molekularen Mechanismen, die die positiven Auswirkungen von körperlicher Betätigung auf das Wohlbefinden wirksam vermitteln. Die meisten meiner Veröffentlichungen beziehen sich auf den Bereich Bewegung und öffentliche Gesundheit, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den folgenden drei Bereichen liegt: 1. Gesundes Altern, 2. molekulare Bewegungsphysiologie und 3. Dopinganalyse, Epidemiologie und Prävention.
